In remembrance of Clair J. Nenno
January 18, 1926 - June 25, 2009

Three years ago today, we lost our anchor in the Nenno family. I painted this portrait as a memoir to him, featured in my senior art exhibit in 2011.
We were fortunate to be led by such a generous, wise, and humble leader. We miss him every day.

A Commissioned Collaborative

A friend and employer from Manchester by the Sea, MA commissioned my sister and myself to do a collaborative mural for his 15-yr-old son. The themes requested were "Pulp Fiction", ""The Big Lebowski", "The Breakfast Club", and other sea and jazz qualities (all things his son enjoys).
It took us about two months to complete, working with each other's schedules, basically handing off the baton before and after work, etc. We never actually got a chance to work on it together at one time in our tiny studio space.
The dimensions are about 5' x 8'. We used acrylic and leftover house paints we've acquired over the years. It was sad to see it go, but it was a fun run, a great experience, and we are glad to have it hanging where it belongs.
